Terms of Service

Welcome to 148 Studios. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and studio facilities. By booking a session or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Booking and Payments

All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment as specified in your package.

• Deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled session if notice is given at least 48 hours in advance.
• Full payment is required before the release of final high-resolution files or deliverables.
• Payments must be made through our authorized payment channels (Paystack, Bank Transfer, etc.).

2. Studio Rules and Conduct

We maintain a professional environment for all creators. By using our facilities, you agree to:

• Arrive on time. Your session starts at the booked time, regardless of arrival.
• Respect the equipment. Clients are liable for any damage caused to studio gear due to negligence or misuse.
• Maintain a clean environment. No smoking or unauthorized substances are permitted within the studio premises.
• Limit guests to the number specified during booking to ensure a productive workflow.

3. Intellectual Property

Ownership of the works produced at 148 Studios is governed by the following:

• The Client retains full ownership of the underlying musical works and performances.
• 148 Studios retains ownership of any proprietary production techniques or software configurations used during the session.
• Work-for-hire agreements for producers or engineers must be explicitly signed to transfer specific copyrights if applicable.

4. Deliverables and Revisions

We strive for excellence in every project. Our revision policy is as follows:

• Standard packages include a specific number of revisions as outlined in the package description.
• Additional revisions beyond the included amount will be billed at our standard hourly rate.
• 148 Studios is not responsible for data loss after final delivery. We recommend clients maintain their own backups.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

We value our engineers' and producers' time. Cancellations must be made within the following timeframes:

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance: Deposit can be used for a future session.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance: Deposit is forfeited.
• No-shows will be charged the full session fee.

6. Limitation of Liability

148 Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or facilities. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific session or service in question.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
